ORDERING

PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW REGARDING ORDERING.  AFTER READING, IF YOU ARE READY TO ORDER, SCROLL DOWN TO THE "ORDERING & CONTACT INFO" SECTION, AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR PLACING AN ORDER:

At least 1 month’s notice must be given on all Wedding Cake orders.

At 10 day's notice must be given on all other orders. If your cake is highly detailed, it may take even longer...so don’t delay in ordering!

Before ordering, please have the following information ready so we can efficiently proceed to the next step...turning your cake dream into a cake reality!

1. Provide as much information as possible:  You can start by providing a general theme or idea for your cake, then move on to details like flavor and colors. This is also the time to provide pictures and other references as well. If you find a picture online of a cake that you’d like, this is a great way for me to see your style and understand exactly what you’re looking for. I do not prefer to copy other’s work, but rather use these pictures as inspiration.
2. Due Date and Guest Count:  Please let me know when you’ll need the cake, as well as how many people you plan on having at the event...this will determine the size of the cake needed.
3. Establish a Budget:  Custom cakes are very labor intensive, and therefore, more expensive than grocery store cakes. Please have a budget in mind, so we can work your design around that.
4. Cake Deposit:  A 50% deposit is due upon receipt/review of the invoice, and at least a week before the cake is due. Remainder of the payment is due upon delivery. If the deposit is not paid on time, Diana’s Sweet Tooth has the right to cancel the order.  In order to hold a date/time for a cake order, the deposit MUST be paid.  A date/time for a cake order will not be honored with only an email, text, cell message, etc. 
5. For Wedding Cakes Only:  Wedding cake consultations are highly suggested for me to get a full idea of exactly what is envisioned. Please be prepared to bring pictures, ideas, sketches, etc. Contact me for consultation scheduling.  If a tasting cake is desired, a 6" cake may be purchased at the normal price.  If the couple decides to book their wedding cake with me, the cost of this 6" cake will be deducted from the wedding cake price.  If multiple 6" cakes are ordered for samples, the price of the LOWEST sample cake will be deducted from the wedding cake price. ***This discount will ONLY be given on wedding cakes, wedding cupcake towers and wedding cake/cupcake combos that are $200 or more (BEFORE the discount)***

ORDERING & CONTACT INFO:

Once you are ready to order, please email me at: dianaausderau@verizon.net or call 757.714.5332. Please provide the following information in your email/phone message:

• Date that cake and/or cupcakes will be needed
• Address and time for delivery (if delivery is desired)
• Cake and/or cupcake flavor(s)
• Number of guests that the cake will need to feed (this will determine cake size needed) and/or how many cupcakes are needed (minimum order for cupcakes is 1 dozen)
• Theme/design ideas for the cake and/or cupcakes (it helps to email some pictures of cakes/cupcakes you like, so I can see your "vision")
• Wording that you'd like on the cake and/or cupcakes (example: Happy Birthday, Congratulations, etc.)
• Budget, so we can work the design around that

I will be able to draw up an invoice based on the information provided, which will include deposit/payment information, payment methods, delivery/pick-up information, etc.
